The FT is reporting that one of the main concerns of small businesses is the lack of available skills in the staff who are able and available to work for them.
Although very well educated upon joining the workforce, many graduates and apprentices lack actual real skills that are relevant for business.
FSB chairman Mr Allen is taking up the issue and campaigning for more practical business skills to be introduced into education.
