MP’s turn their focus onto improving small and medium sized business productivity, not growth.

The Independent is reporting that a recent survey reveals 60% of the working population are working for small or medium sized businesses. Instead of focusing on growth, MP’s are now keen to increase productivity in these businesses. Their aim is to achieve wage increase to encourage spending for the benefit of the overall UK economy.

This week, The All Parliamentary Small Business Group published a report aimed at productivity and highlighted specific challenges faced by small businesses. The aim is to encourage the government to take action on facing those specific challenges, such as access to high speed broadband and other small business concerns.

What does this all mean? It means that the government is focused on small and medium sized business growth. What does that mean? It means more help and assistance on increasing productivity is on the way, now is the time to take advantage of these opportunities.
