On Wednesday 11th September, we headed down to the always-welcoming Google Campus venue to hold our second Become A Business Mentor event. After the massive success of the first one in June where several mentors signed up for the Start Up Loans scheme Positive Inclusions are doing as Delivery Partners, we had no choice to hold another one.
We had inspirational speeches from Business Ambassador Mavis Amankwah, Business Mentor – Lyrical Healer, and Start Up Loans successful applicant and mentee, Tinashe Immanuel to name a few. The event also included a Meet and Greet from existing mentors and mentees, information about the mentoring programme, information about the ASDAN mentoring certificate and some networking with like-minded business people (which carried on after the event had finished).
It was a real successful event with a lovely turnout despite the rain on that day and we are so thankful to all attendees, mentors, potential mentors and all the team who helped make this event so special.
We also confirmed 15 new people to sign up and become business mentors, which is amazing.
