Mavis and the Rich Visions ladies go to Royal Ascot!

Written by Mavis Amankwah

So as I am a kind lady, I decided to give the Rich Visions team a real well-deserved treat to aim for if we hit our target in accordance to the current Start-up Loans scheme that we are Delivery Partners for. I said if we hit our target for that month, that I will take the ladies to Ladies Day at Royal Ascot.

As a woman who stays true to her promise – the team reached their target and off to Ascot we went! It was me, Diwa, Sarah, Kimberley, Faith and Ruth who dressed up to the nines for the occasion with a flurry of fascinators, hats and dresses (Sarah even had really cool gloves to go with her monochrome outfit).

The coach ride was fun as for an hour and a half (the length of the journey), we were given unlimited champagne on the bus to swig down our throats, which totally got us ready for the day ahead in a totally different way! Once we reached the racecourse, we were treated to a scrumptious unlimited buffet whilst I surprised them and brought along some gorgeous cupcakes, finger sandwiches and chocolates for us all to eat!

The overcast weather didn’t match the vibrancy of our outfits but hey, at least it didn’t rain. (It was forecasted to thunder storm, phew!) What was amazing is that we did have a great view of the course and of the races and we actually got to watch history in the making as the Queen’s horse Estimate won the Gold Cup, which meant she became┬áthe first reigning monarch to win the prestigious race in Ascot’s 207-year history. We even had a little win of our own as Diwa placed a bet on a horse and won some money too! Not bad eh! :)

A lovely day had by all! Here are some photos from the prestigious day’s events…
